What is your cervical mucus suppose to be like a few days before you get your BFP?

i've heard that before a woman gets positive pregnancy test her cervical mucus will be kind of chunky and white like its little (sorry tmi) I am really curious about this because i thought that if you had mucus like that it is a infection but from waht i have heard this can be part of early pregnancy. anyone experience this during the early stages of pegnancy?
