Besides looks/personality, what're some reasons ppl get infatuated over others?

I'd like to think the guys on my course who are attracted to me, are attracted to my intelligence...can I laugh now? I think a huge part of it for guys is looks/appearance and then the 10% left, constitutes everything else...
