Copernicans : How can you be certain that the geographic location of Israel is right?

Exodus gives precise, recognizable geographic locations for the borders of Israel which are still recognizable today. Even if the Jordan river has shifted, for example, if God set the Jordan river as the boundary, then the Jordan river is the boundary, even if it winds up adding or subtracting from the designated land.
