Is there possibility to feel something special to someone you have just known from the internet?Why s this so?

Last june, someone sent a message into my facebook account telling me that he wanted me to be his friend. I have only noticed that mail last first week of July. Then, with no other reason, i tried to reply his message. Then, he again replied me. Until we have known each others email ID and started chatting. Just for curiousity, i tried to browse his name on the internet and i found at an article about. Where in he is from prominent family, his father is political leader who became a political prisoner including his mother and his brothers and sisters. To my surprise, i became curious to him of what had happened with his family. And everytime we chat, i asked him about the details of what really had happened until we became friends.We chatted evryday for almost 4 hours during the evening. i am here in dubai right now and he is in norway. he told me that he felt something special for me and me too felt something special for him.We have seen each other in the cam.Feeling ths way is crazy?
