What is your opinion about piercing a baby girls ear lobes?

I don't think the girl would be offended either way. I"m 13 and haven't gotten my ears pierced (don't want to) but I wouldn't have minded if they had been pierced when I was younger. It doesn't really deform you (if you don't like it, then you just don't have to wear earrings) and it's not much different than the multitude of vaccines young infants have to receive anyway. It's even less painful than some of those.
