How can I better my relationship with my family?

My family is the same way. . . i just bluntly ignore them all the time and pretend that i pay attention and i do as they want me to do. One day i know that i will have nothing to do with them when im older because they abuse me so i despise them, they lose a daughter because its their fault they didn't spend time with them when they needed them the most that people like me only have some friends to talk to. If your family is that important, ask them to just take family counseling and if the therapy doesn't work then they don't have to go to it anymore and open up how you feel to them. I thought I was starting to understand women.?

Up until two days ago I was dating this woman who absolutely loved spending time with me and likewise. She is diagnosed with social anxiety and has attacks when around large groups of people. Well you should probably start playing with her a little. Maybe you should try to plan out the naps more, like schedule a time and how long she should sleep, like 2 hours a time 3 times a day, or whatever is needed. And in special cases she can take more, you know? First off your missing other key players in Toronto. Second off, Tukoglu, Wright, George, Reggie were acquired in trades not signings. Reggie coming from Philadelphia in exchange for Kapono. Wright, Turkoglu, George coming from the 4-Way trade. DeRozan was a good pick for the Raptors and I think he has the skill to be the next Vince Carter. They also signed Jarrett Jack who is a good point guard and is willing to play backup. He is better than TJ Ford so we have a good guard combination. Getting Rasho back was also a good move. He is a good centre who plays defense and can give you an occasional basket. I also like the fact that they are going to get Delfino back. I really liked watching his game when he was with Toronto a couple of years ago. Another move I think Colangelo should do is make sure he resigns Joey Graham and Pops Mensa-Bonsu. These are two energy guys that can provide a spark off the bench. But I still don't think that they can win the East, let alone the NBA Finals. They need someone who can score in the clutch and finish off games. That is a big problem. Over the past years I've been watching Raptors games and they have like 10-20 point leads in the 3rd/4th quarter and they end up blowing it. Take for example that one game against New Jersey. We rented the game from Blockbuster to see if we liked it and now we are purchasing the rented copy because we enjoy the game and it is cheaper (since we already paid the rental fee) to just keep the copy we rented and pay Blockbuster the purchase price, but now we have no VIP code and apparently you get some pretty cool gear with it. We actually got it at the store the day it came out as soon as they opened, so the game was brand new out of the box, but of course they don't give you a VIP code for a rented game, so now we are SOL. I have found online sources that say you can buy one for $15 from the in-game store, but I have looked at the store in the game, and on the XBOX Live Game Marketplace under all downloads for the game and all game add ons, and nada. In the game, it has a map pack that has VIP under the price, but no way to buy the VIP code. I found them on eBay, but as it is a string of numbers and not a material, viable product, I am a little wary of purchasing there as they could just give me a bunch of random numbers that are absolute crap and made up for $15, or never send me anything at all. alright so im 5 days late on my period, and have been so sick to my stomach for a week and a half, and have had really bad headaches with it, my lower back has been killing me for 3 days, and have been peeing a little bit more than usual, ive looked up everything that could possibly make my period late, stress..i don't have any, medications...im not on any, coming off the pill or starting the pill....ive never been on it, illness... im not even sick and haven't gotten anyone sick, menopause...im only 20 years old i highly doubt its that, change in cycle...ive had my period since i wa in 5th grade and this has never happened to me. i have had unprotected in the last month a few times, and about a week and a half ago, almost two weeks really i went to the bathroom and had some tiny little blood spots, but only for one day, it was like nothing though. i took 2 pregnancy tests the day after i missed my period and they came up neg, but everyones telling me that was probably too early for the hcg to show up, and its been 4 days since then and still no period.....what do you think is going on?!!!!!

I had a really bad cold about a month and a half ago that last two and a half weeks. I felt better for about a week then I got a very weak cold again for another week that is still lingering. I still have a cough, usually around lunch every day after I eat thats been going on a few weeks. I dont have any other symtoms though. Then they allow other counties who do not have to abide by these rules to sell their "dirty" goods in our country with out paying tarriffs or leveling the playing feild. Its not a good thing anymore to be an urban Canadian. Ive got my sights set on Mexico. At least its warm there and you dont have to own two sets of everything. A winter set and a summer set. Its all around a cheaper place to live. youre allowed to keep the some of money you make in Mexico. In Canada you pay 35% of your income and 15% on everything you spend. If your investments make money yopu pay tax on that too! If they loose money..... your outa luck no losses allowed as deductions. UNFAIR practices are everwhere. From my experience, I would say he is hungry. Try giving him a small amount of rice cereal mixed with milk before bedtime. Just because he is in the 75% does not mean that he is not hungry.... after all, you did say you have twins.... I has this problem, and when I told my mother-in-law, it was she who suggested this old remedy. It worked like a charm. One tablespoon of milk/cereal mixture, and my son slept through the night.

We went out for about 8 months. We kept getting in fights so he broke up with me. I was devasted and depressed by this for a few months. The solution to the economic crisis, is to let the free market fix it. The Government is not the solution, it is the problem. The Government mandated loans to people who could not afford it. This led to a false demand for housing and inflated housing prices. When the cost of living went up, due to gasoline price hikes, we had inflation. There was no corresponding wage increases. There were too many people looking for jobs. Then interest rates went up. People could no longer afford the mortgage payments on their homes. many houses hit the market due to mortgage forclosures.House values went down and houses were no longer worth what people owed on them. The solution would have been to place a business man in charge of fannie and freddie and AIG and let the government get out of the business world entirely. Regulations such as suggestng who gets loans and who doesn't is a recipe for disaster.

Ok, so my friend who is like my sister has five dogs. One is a malamute, and it is the biggest. The rest are medium sized. The malamute's name is Shayla. Co-signer Issue?

I have co-signed for a car that I am now in possesion of and am making payments. I want the title in my name only. Unfortunetly, I can not get the other party to sign the title or even talk to me. She is filing Chapter 7 this week. I understand I am responsible for the loan as a co-signer and can't get her name off that untill I pay if off or refinance. But, I still have to deal with the issue of her name on the title. I don't see how I can sell or trade in the car without her signature. Am I missing something? It's called "return of premium" (ROP) and basically how it works is you attach the "ROP" rider to a regular term policy and at the end of the term (10 to 30 years) you receive all of your premiums back minus the cost of the rider. There usually ends up being a good amount returned these days probably more than 10k. Because there is no money gained you would also receive it all tax free. You could do whatever you want with it. Sleep training working or not??? HELP!!!?

I will try to make this brief....I have a 5 month 1 week old son. For the past 16 days we have been working on sleep training. His sleep had gotten so BAD that he was up every hour to two hours all night long having to nurse to go back to sleep or be rocked. It was too the point I could no longer sleep period as I knew it would take me so long to fall asleep and then he would wake back up. My marriage is suffering, I was beginning to bring the baby to bed (which neither my husband or I wanted to do). I was going to wait until 6 months but couldn't take it anymore. He is 17+lbs and perfectly healthy otherwise. So I have read several books, Ferber's book was what we chose to do with some tweaking. I didn't expect him to go all night without any feeding but now I think that is where the problem arises. My husband had to do the sleep training because I think I cried harder than the baby did. After two nights of crying about an hour (with checks at 3, 5, 10, 15, ect.) before falling asleep, he had learned how to put himself to sleep. He was waking up around midnight, talking a little snuggling with his lovey and back to sleep until 3ish (talking but I umed he is hungry) when I would feed him and put him back down, he would go to sleep on his own. This lasted about a week. When day 8 rolled around he started waking up at 930-11 and crying. Still putting himself to sleep when initially going down though. I checked him for dirty, checked to make sure his teeth weren't hurting (teeths off and on), but I felt like something must be wrong for him to cry now after a week of doing so well. I buckled and fed him, my bad but my heart breaks to hear him cry so I feel like I set us back there but don't understand why all of a sudden he was waking. Now it is hit or miss. Sometimes he is up after an hour, sometimes he only gets up once. My question is has anyone else had this happen? Do you think he is confused as sometimes he gets to eat and sometimes he doesn't? He doesn't act overly hungry when he does but again he has that sleep ociation that I was trying to break to begin with. Should I just swallow the guilt and try to go all night without a feeding so there is no confusion? My heart is breaking when he cries but I cant start feeding him everytime (that's the only thing that will calm him down) he wakes either or we will just go back to where we were. Please only constructive comments and don't belittle or berate me for doing the sleep training to begin with. And BTW he is doing great for naps putting himself to sleep. He is a catnapper though, 3-4 45 minute naps a day. Thanks for any help!!!

Just going by what you've observed, I'd really have to wonder if she is even really at this "camp". Watchmen or dark night?

As most of you know, there were two superhero films that came out in between 2008-2009, those two movies were The Dark Knight and Watchmen (not including Wolverine). There is one thing that's been puzzling me for a while, everyone in the world of movie reviews have said that The Dark Knight was a really, really good movie, in my opinion i would say that i only liked it because of Heath Ledger and his role as the Joker. But why didn't all the critic's say good things about Watchmen. The only thing i didn't like in that movie was the way they changed the ending, other than that the movie got most of the novels story, events that happened in the book, characters, and what the characters say even the small things they say which were pretty close to the graphic novel (which is my number one favorite book of all time). So my question is, why aren't they acknowledging a novel based movie which has good characters and a complex story line that goes well when you put the chapters and characters together, and instead the reviewers and critics are acknowledging a movie that is based on a cartoon that you can watch on WB kids? It just doesn't make any sense.

to get the best student loans with the best interest rates, you need to fill out the FAFSA. Technically, it is applying for financial aid. you may be offered grants and scholarships along with the loans and I guess you could turn them down but I think that would be a dumb move, but your decision. If you really want to waste a lot of money on interest then apply for a private student loan instead of going through FAFSA. that would also be a not-so-bright move, but hey, its your life and your money

Should I trust AutoCheck?

I found a good car that I liked for super cheap on Craigslist. The guy is going to Afghanistan and needs the car gone as soon as possible. Does anyone out there have a family member that is battling with drugs/alcohol and drug dealing ?

My 25 year old (younger) brother has been in jail many times. He can't handle alcohol and does drugs at times and even sells them at times. He says he's addicted to that kind of lifestyle. He's cost my parents so much money and grief and heartache. He has a grim outlook for life and needs help...desperately. He won't go to the local rehab center again. He's been before. He gets violent when drinking or on drugs. He yells and cusses you and calls you the worst things you've ever heard. His mind is deranged when he messes with substances. He is gentle and loveable and comical when he's not messing with that stuff, but those good times are rare. We had to throw him out of the house recently and I am scared of him now. Weight Loss question, please answer!?

I need to lose a couple inches from my waist and hips to be able to process into the Navy. I'm not concerned about it being long term loss, I just need it to last long enough to go down to MEPS. Would the Atkins diet be a good idea for this? I do exercise 6 days a week. For the last year or so I have really changed my eating habits, no fast food, limited calories, more fruits and veggies, etc. I don't want to do atkins for any reason other than I really need to lose a few inches fast. Separated - Showing interest or being nice?

My wife and I have been married for 12 yrs and separated for 3 months. We have 2 kids together. In a nutshell, I initiated the separation because I wanted attention from her. We had alot of things going on in terms of stress and rather than working it out I made a rash and immature move out of desperation in the hopes that she would take me more seriously. However, my plan backfired and she decided to second guess our whole marriage. I told her i was really sorry for what i did and that I had no right. I tried to show my love for her by flowers, i love u's, the works. None of that worked. It actually pushed her away further. About 10 days ago she told me divorce was the path she was on. She didnt file or do anything legal. So I did what I should have done in the first place. I just stopped bothering her. I stopped arguing and pleading my case. I just let her be. Slowly but surely she has been calling and texting me. At first it was her venting. Then she started checking on me to see how I am and sending texts like I hope you slept well. Yesterday she talked to me about work stuff and whats going on with her. Then towards the end she brought up some story about how guys were stalking her on the way home to get her number. How do I overcome my best friend jealousy?

My best friend has recently started becoming close with another one of our friends. He ures me that I am still number one, but he also told me that he tells her his big problems and issues that before he only talked about with me. She likes to rub it in my face that they are friends, and she will constantly poke him and things like that when we are at school (I think she has a crush on him, considering before he came out as a she had liked him for a long time). I cannot seem to overcome my jealously and it is creating problems in our friendship. I looked in my freshwater fish tank containing 2 black-skirted tetras, 2 albino sail fin mollys, 2 ghost shrimp and 1 neon tetra, and i noticed around one of my plants inside it these small white glue-like drops. none of these had any certain form, more like someone dropped small drops of glue in the tank. there are quite a few of these thing, all spread out along the plant. im guessing they are eggs from one of the fish, but to my knowledge both the tetras and the mollys are live birthing fish. any clues? Slow hot water to shower faucet and head?

How long would I be in the USMC DEP?

So I'm in th process of waiting for my green card so I can't sign with the Marines yet. I've talked to the recruiters and they said that I could PT with the crew from the DEP, now I've been going to the office to PT 3 times a week for the past 3 weeks and I'll keep doing it. So my question is by the time my GC arrives and I'm able to sign the contract for how long would I be in the DEP?? I'm wondering because I'm fit already and if I keep going to PT I'll end up in pretty good shape, and I see that the dudes that are in the DEP are just doing PT or not doing anything at all (except for that monthly meeting)... so yeah any ideas of for how long would I be in the DEP?

Ok. So today i bought starcraft 1 to keep me entertained until sc2 came out in a few weeks. I went Home very happy with my new (lol) game and a reciept with a $10 deposit for sc2. When my dad got back i told him and he just went "grunt". Lol. So i was wondering what the system requirements were. Minimum system requirements were much better than what my winws xp laptop had. My laptop cost around $250>$300. Im not sure it was a christmas present. Anyway. I found out i couldnt play it and had a little fit. I need play it sooooo bad. My laptop nor my dads computer could run it because we havent got state of the art blizzard s*h*i*t. I dont see why they had to do such high standard sys req. I really want to play sc2 after seeing trailers and beta gameplays. Graphics are amazing and so is gameplay. I live in australia by the way. Can anybody recommend a chepish computer(preferably laptop) that could run sc2 smoothly? I mean anything that can run that can run anything right? But hen if i gt some super expensive laptop i will feel sort of guilty for having 2 laptops and only using 1. Please HELP!!!!

Well, the why question might be easier to answer. Your little brother probably looks up to you, and trusts you more than he does your guys' dad. Maybe he just feels closer to you, and less scared about asking you about what is happening to his body, and hoping that you will tell him the truth. I mean, if he had tried to ask your guys' father, your dad may not have wanted to talk about it, because it was too uncomfortable, or your brother could have been scared that he might possibly get hit for asking about something 'bad' like that, especially if your father has ever had a bad temper or something. I mean, it's only normal to want to talk to and learn stuff from someone you trust not to hurt you, and you brother probably trusts you so much that he knew you would never do anything to ever hurt him, even when he showed himself to you. As for how to wind down, I'm not sure there is any magic way that is going to make the embarment and tears go away, but I would suggest maybe playing a game, or listening to music, or finding something else to do to try and keep your mind busy so you are not "over-thinking" about it, which is probably making you so upset. I don't know if you have a good relationship with your dad or not, but if you do, maybe you could ask him if you could talk to him about what happened, or something. Anyway, I would try to not beat yourself too much over it, because it sounds like you weren't out to try and hurt your brother, or anything like that, so I am sure (or at least I hope so) that everything will be okay for you.
